Every project begins with listening to you and observing the land to create the life you want to live in your garden.
We begin with a site visit and a real conversation – about your land, your vision, and how you want to use the space. We look at sun, soil, water, wind, existing vegetation, and the surrounding ecology. We listen before we design.
We develop concept directions for your site – exploring different approaches to layout, planting, and materials. Three concept sketches open up a conversation about what feels right and what doesn’t.
Once a direction is chosen, we develop it into a full design with detailed planting plans, material specifications, and construction drawings your contractors can work from. We select plants suited to your climate, soil, and ecology.
We support you through implementation by answering contractor questions, reviewing work on site, and making adjustments as the project comes to life. A garden evolves over time; we’re here for that process too.
Many of our projects are designed working with clients in the US and Europe through video calls, detailed drawings, and close collaboration with local contractors. Distance is not a barrier to good design.
