Landscape Designer * Ecological Design * Health + Place
Kate grew up exploring the fields and creekbeds of her family’s farm – an early education in paying close attention to the land that has shaped everything since.
She holds a masters degree in ecological landscape design and planning from The Conway School, and has spent the past decade working across scales, from intimate residential gardens to community and civic spaces.
Her work sits at the intersection of ecology, beauty, and human health – grounded in the belief that well-designed outdoor spaces aren’t a luxury but a genuine contributor to how people feel and live.
Kate is based in the Lake Como region of northern Italy, and works with clients locally and internationally, including remote design services for clients in the US.
Currently completing a Masters of Science in Climate Change and Planetary Health at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine examining the relationship between climate, health equity, and landscape architecture policy.
Every project begins with deep listening – to the site, its ecology, its history, and the people who will inhabit it.
Well designed beautiful and healthy spaces serve both people and ecosystems equally.
Regenerative design means working with natural systems rather than against them – building resilience into every project.
